“Humanity” is our business. The least, the last, the lost, and the lonely are our business. We find purpose and meaning in life only in so far as we give ourselves away, to the glory of God.

I believe that in life we are like a great ship cutting through Life’s waters. The wake that we leave behind rocks other boats and eventually washes onto distant shores.

You are the light of the world. Be light. Let no cares or concerns of this world dim your light. Let it shine brightly. Let the light of God’s eternal, unconditional love shine through you–every day, every moment, every second of your life. Do it for the glory of God.

All Saints’ Worship Service ~ Sunday, November 4th, 2018
What makes us think that we are exempt from the trials and tribulations of life, the hardships, and tragedies of life? What makes us think that we are somehow inoculated against evil in the world? If anything, we should be more ready for it. After all, didn’t Jesus warn us that if we wish to be his disciple that we must pick up the cross and die? Seminary teaches you a lot, but not everything. I think my ministry at FFC is unique. Of course, there have been some hiccups along the way, but over that last 30 months, all of you have taught me so much. Among what I have learned from you is the true meaning of the “fruits of the Spirit.”
“We ought not to be weary of doing little things for the love of God, who regards not the greatness of the work, but the love with which it is performed.”
Sunday, October 7th, 2018 ~ World Communion Sunday
When it comes to God we can question God, no problem, but when questions become doubt, a lack of trust in God, that is a problem. The good news is, even when we are struggling with trusting God, God has not left us nor forsaken us. God loves us and provided for us. We know this to be true because at the Lord’s Table we see that God’s provisions are always enough.
We do apologize, but due to technical difficulties, no audio was captured for this service.
Wisdom is the combination of Faith plus Works. Faith and works are not inconsistent with one another, but they fit together like a hand in a glove. Show me your works and I will show you your faith. The two are inseparable.
